Ian Everest will show a film of Sussex Farming
in the 1950s. 'A very different era when 20 men were
employed on the farm throughout the year and 40 at
harvest time.'

Chichester 900-1500 - a talk by Dr.Ian Friel
MA, FSA, a writer and historical consultant. Come
along and find out more about our fascinating county
town during the medieval period.
April
12th
Cowdray: Past,
Present and Future - a talk covering 500 years of
England's history, based on Cowdray House and its
inhabitants and visitors, by Heather Ongley,
Operations
Manager for Cowdray Heritage Trust.
The
committee hopes that these varied talks will be of
interest to all the membership, but, of course, we
are always glad to receive suggestions for the future
and feedback on past meetings.
